Cold War Patriots Resource Fair for Uranium Workers and Their Families

Comments:  Maybe the people who works for the Nuke people in Lynchburg, VA should request the same thing, free health care screenings!  Seems to be a problem with Los Alamos!

Cold War Patriots, a non-profit organization, has organized a resource fair to bring free health care screenings, informational resources, and entertainment together in one venue for former and current Los Alamos and Sandia National Lab workers, Uranium workers, and seniors on July 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Cities of Gold Conference Center.

The annual Cold War Patriots Resource Fair will focus on connecting current and former Los Alamos and Sandia National Lab workers, Uranium workers, and area seniors with resources such as health care providers, financial resources, government benefits programs and more.

Kevin Fitzgerald of Cold War Patriots said this event is a great way to bring important resources together in one place.

“It’s a pleasure to offer Los Alamos and Sandia National Lab workers, Uranium workers, and seniors access to the services they need as well as a chance for old friends to see each other.”

The mission of Cold War Patriots, as a pro-worker organization, is to connect members with health services, advocate for former worker rights, and provide a community and information network to those who need it. Membership in Cold War Patriots is free.
