Virginia Beach Links
Virginia Beach commissioned a scientific study to evaluate the risks posed by uranium mining to their drinking water supply drawn from Lake Gaston on the Roanoke River. This study has been frequently cited as to reasons various governments oppose the lifting of the ban on uranium mining in Virginia.
