WHAT VA URANIUM WON’T TELL YOU ABOUT 100% CANADIAN OWNERSHIP

Comments from KM:  Remember the 1939 movie The Wizard of Oz? Ms. Gulch tortures Dorothy's family and ultimately takes her dog away. Dorothy is upset, as are her Aunt Em and Uncle Henry. Uncle Henry only plays passive-aggressive games with Miss Gulch, but it’s Aunt Em who tells Miss Gulch to her face that she can’t tell her what she really thinks of her ("being a Christian woman"). M. C. Huffer (below) has no such compunction when it comes to honest feelings. Enjoy...

Has anyone out there ever heard of a real estate listing that actually boasted that a family home or agricultural farm represented for sale was located near a uranium mine!?

If you’d been listening to NPR’s “Virginia Conversations” yesterday with Virginia Uranium’s cheerleading stooge, Patrick Wales, one would think that such propitious properties would be sparking immediate bidding wars in Pittsylvania County due solely to the enhancement of the community through the wonders of uranium mining!

On the contrary, a Gretna farmer called into the program to inform Mr. Wales that his beautiful farm—which produces hay for livestock consumption—has been for sale for two years with no takers once real estate agents are forced by law to disclose to the many interested buyers that his property is located near Mr. Wales’ corporate employer.

Pittsylvania County properties are plummeting in value with the mere suggestion of lifting Virginia’s ban on uranium mining.

Homeowner’s taxes are going up and up in the county while home values spiral downward due to the threatnot enhancementof uranium mining.

But what Mr. Wales and Virginia Uranium are both loath to reveal is their true skullduggery:

Namely, allowing the insidious acquisition of 100% ownership of the Coles Hill uranium site by Virginia Uranium’s Canadian Kissing Cousin; the result being that uranium mining in the county will enjoy complete protection by the NAFTA Treaty
.
Virginia Uranium—now a wholly owned Canadian corporation—is now positioned to wrap its tentacles around our county and Commonwealth and destroy it before any of our citizens will even realize what has happened to them.

One would hope that our Governor, “Vag-probe” McDonnell, would take his head out of ladies' wombs long enough to grasp what is being wrought inside Virginia:

NAFTA allows Canada to sue our county and Virginia directly for any infringement of their absolute right to make profits—no matter how much radiation they dump into our water, our air, or our agricultural environment—should they feel their power to do so is being diminished or infringed upon in any way by environmental laws or regulations.

 Remember, corporations are people, too!

NAFTA protections also allow Canadian multi-national corporations to by-pass our domestic U.S. judicial system and directly challenge environmental and public interest laws within secret tribunals.

Virginia Energy Provides Update on Plan of Arrangement:
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Sep 24, 2012)
Virginia Energy Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:VAE)(OTCQX:VAERF) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that the shareholders of the Company have approved, and the Supreme Court of British Columbia has granted the final order approving, the previously announced plan of arrangement (the "Arrangement") under the Business Corporations Act (British Columbia) involving the Company, VA Uranium Holdings, Inc. ("Holdco") and Virginia Uranium Ltd. ("VUL") and their respective security holders under which the Company will spin out certain of its assets (the Otish property in Quebec and shares of Holdco (which holds the Coles Hill uranium project in Virginia) to its wholly-owned subsidiary, VUL, and a consolidation of the ownership of Holdco into VUL through a merger of Holdco into VUL. Pursuant to the Arrangement, the Company will change its name to "Anthem Resources Incorporated" ("Anthem Resources").

The new company that results from the merger of Holdco into VUL will own 100% of the Coles Hill uranium project and the Otish property and shall take over the name "Virginia Energy Resources Inc." ("Virginia Energy").

That Gretna farmer knows he’s absolutely screwed and so is the entire Commonwealth of Virginia thanks to our inept and four greedy Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors and politicians.

Think it can’t happen in Virginia?Under NAFTA's protections for investors, Canadian corporations have launched the following assaults while destroying our environment and public health:

A Canadian gold mining company recently sued the United States to avoid clean up and reclamation of its mine site in California, maintaining that this requirement would interfere with the company's right and ability to generate profits for its shareholders.

Another Canadian corporation challenged California's right to ban the additive MTBE in its gasoline (California has banned MTBE because of leakage from underground gas storage tanks, which polluted drinking water throughout the state).

The Canadian corporation Methanex sued California for approximately ONE BILLION DOLLARS because its profit capabilities were hampered by California's MTBE ban.

Dr. Evil would be proud!
