Comment: Great letter, Ms. Hunt and so true! No to uranium mining!

To the editor:
I am 93 years old and a life-long resident of Danville and Pittsylvania County.
I am deeply shocked and saddened that our beautiful countryside has been targeted for uranium mining.
Will we be coerced by corporate greed and the lust for short-term profit, creating the potential for environmental disaster?
Or will we choose to protect our land and water, our heritage and the well-being of future generations?
I implore all concerned citizens: Speak out, and say no.
