Meeting: DEQ, VDH, and DGIF
In an effort to keep you updated on the coal ash spill by Duke Energy in North Carolina into the Dan River, I wanted to let you know of the latest public meeting scheduled for next week.
DEQ, VDH, and DGIF will be in Danville next Tuesday, March 18 to provide the public with an update of the spill response activities.
There will be a public meeting in the Council Chambers from 5:30-6:45 where David Paylor of DEQ will provide a brief update and then all will be available to answer questions from the public.
