As the fight to protect Virginia's moratorium on uranium mining took center stage in Southside last year, the Fairfax Water Authority published a critical report noting a number of mines that could come online in Northern Virginia should the moratorium be lifted. All of these mines are within the Occoquan and Potomac watersheds, which provide drinking water to almost every resident in Northern Virginia.

Come out for a community forum featuring representatives from Fairfax Water and Virginia Beach Public Utilities, both strong supporters of the moratorium, to learn about the risks we could face to our water and communities if the ban is lifted. Find out how you can get involved in helping keep the ban!
