New Opportunities to Go Solar, webinar this Wednesday

Join us for a FREE Webinar and learn how your organization can take advantage of this opportunity. (note: The webinar is geared toward colleges and universities, but the programs applies for all tax-exempt institutions in Dominion service territory.)

Go Solar, webinar
  • 2:00pm until 3:00pm
  • Dial in from Home, Work or School!

  • Learn how your public Virginia college or university can go Green with Solar Power by registering to participate in a FREE webinar hosted by the VAYD Environmental Caucus, VA Sierra Club, and the National Wildlife Federation!

Colleges, universities, schools, faith communities, local governments and other non-profits will find it easier to “go solar” under a law that took effect in Virginia on July 1. Read more about the law here:

Eligible customers are able to install solar panels or wind turbines with little or no upfront cost, paying only for the electricity the systems provide. This arrangement, known as a third-party power purchase agreement (PPA), has been the driver for most of the solar projects in the U.S. in recent years.
