Meeting
Chatham, VA - A former mining commissioner for New Mexico will be in Chatham to give insight into the potential environmental impact of uranium mining.
The Blue Ridge Environmental Defense League is sponsoring the forum.
Val Green who is a mining engineers will discuss things like airborne contamination, acid rock drainage, and ground and surface water impact.
If you're interested in going, it's Sept 13, Thursday night from 7p.m. to 9p.m. at the Olde Dominion Agricultural center in Chatham.
