The National Academy of Sciences committee that wrote the Academy’s report
on uranium mining in Virginia, available online
at http://dels.nas.edu/Report/Uranium-Mining-Virginia-Scientific-Technical/13266),
will hold a public meeting to present the report’s findings on February
7, 6:30 p.m., at the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research in Danville
(located at 150 Slatyon Avenue, near the intersection of Rts. 29 and
58/360).
