BREDL Board of Directors Meeting

AGENDA: All the League's Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia and Maryland issues including: nuclear power, dry-cleaning solvent contamination, waste incinerators, sewage sludge, wind energy, landfills, CAFOs, pesticides, air toxics, highways, plutonium fuel, weapons site clean-up, brownfields, asphalt plants, wastewater...etc.
We will have reports from Board Co-Presidents Sam Tesh and James Johnson and Acting Executive Director, Lou Zeller. All Chapter representatives are invited to update Board members on their activities during the last three months. We encourage all chapter leaders to provide written reports which will become part of the Board meeting's minutes and may be published on our website and in our League Line newsletter. Send us your updates, pictures, news articles, quotes and cartoons!

Note: Some of our members are chemically sensitive, which means they are allergic to many chemicals used in perfume, aftershave, and other common products. We will have an air purifier running during the meeting to help make the room air cleaner. You can help by reducing use of these chemicals as much as possible. Thank you!

This is where the Board met in the past starting back in 1998. It is less than half a mile and on the other side of the street from Fire Mountain Restaurant, which has gone out of business.
Sagebrush has a varied menu with reasonable prices.

From TN and western NC:
I-40 EAST to Winston- Salem . As you approach Winston-Salem, stay LEFT, exit at I-40 Business, continue through Winston-Salem. From I-40 Business take EXIT 14 for Kernersville (South Main) and turn RIGHT on South Main and go 1/10 mile. Turn LEFT at Century Park Road, Sagebrush is on the left.
From South Carolina:
I-77 NORTH to I-40 EAST to Winston Salem. As you approach Winston-Salem, Stay LEFT, exit at I-40 Business, continue through Winston-Salem. From I-40 Business take EXIT 14 for Kernersville (South Main) and turn RIGHT on South Main and go 1/10 mile. Turn LEFT at Century Park Road, Sagebrush is on the left.
From SW Virginia:
I-77 SOUTH to US 52 to I-40 Business EAST in Winston-Salem to Kernersville. From I-40 Business take EXIT 14 for Kernersville (South Main) and turn RIGHT on South Main and go 1/10 mile. Turn LEFT at Century Park Road, Sagebrush is on the left.
From eastern NC and VA:
Take I-40 WEST or I-85 SOUTH to Greensboro. Stay RIGHT and take I-40 WEST, go about 12 miles. Stay RIGHT to I-40 Business WEST. Take EXIT 14 for Kernersville (South Main St). Turn LEFT on South Main and go 2/10 mile. Turn LEFT at Century Park Road, Sagebrush is on the left.
