(The Old Methodist Church).
The public is invited to attend.
Sonja Ingram, Field Representative for Preservation Virginia, will be discussing the impacts uranium mining will have to the historic resources in the area, and the broader negative implications uranium mining may have on heritage tourism efforts in the region.

 
The event is sponsored by Piedmont Residents In Defense of the Environment (PRIDE),
a Chapter of the Blue Ridge Environmental Defense League (BREDL).
