The Institute for Advanced Learning and Research would like to take that used oil off your hands.
Starting Monday, Nov. 29, IALR will be accepting used oil donations.
The Institute has installed a vegetable oil processing unit on the truck that pulls the mobile STEM lab and can utilize the used oil as fuel.
The used cooking oil must be vegetable liquid only, such as, vegetable, canola, corn, or peanut oil.
No liquid shortening, fatty oils, lard or grease will be accepted.
Containers will be returned, and see-through containers are best.
