Danville, Virginia Goes Solar Impulse with money (no to uranium mining)

Comment:  Thanks Danville for true green energy, no to nukes, no to uranium mining!  What is wrong with Pittsylvania County, no green power yet, what is wrong with RIFA, no green power yet, why? 
Virginia Goes Solar Impulse with money in Danville, Virginia are, city officials plan the use of stimulus funds to install through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (U.S. Department of Energya distributed ™ s energy efficiency and conservation block grant formula), the solar panels on the cityâ construction market in December.

The grant will fund 2000 25 kW (or more) installation, where city officials are already looking Danville RFP. Successful entrepreneurs create, acquire, install and commission the system.

Done, it will be the first large photovoltaic installation in the region, and officials hope it will be enough power for the entire building (which continue to provide a heating system operating on gas).
