Quebec Uranium Moratorium Called For in Sept-Îles
Comment: This blog would like a referendum on uranium mining with Pittsylvania County and Danville, VA leaders! We would like to be on neutral settings and not the county meetings where the supervisors loom about us like the kings of England’s use to do with her colonists! All communities in the world are fighting against uranium mining and milling!

The citizens in Sept-Îles are demanding the government of Quebec hold a referendum on uranium exploitation in Quebec.
It would be the democratic way to resolve this intractable problem (uranium mining).
Sept-Îles Sans Uranium is organizing a march in their community on Sunday (Dec. 13) aimed at forcing the Quebec government to hold a debate on the health and safety concerns surrounding uranium mining.
