Be a Force of Nature during National Severe Weather Preparedness Week, March 3-9.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) are working together to raise awareness and save lives during National Severe Weather Preparedness Week.
When it comes to the dangers of severe weather we ask that you:
Together we can save lives and transform the way the United States responds to severe weather. Know your risk, take action and be an example during National Severe Weather Preparedness Week.
What you can do
Help spread the word about National Severe Weather Preparedness Week with an online toolkit. It contains tweets, a sample blog post, a presentation you can give and much more. Save lives by letting your friends and family know about the importance of preparing for the worst.
Pledge to prepare on ready.gov and get expert advice on what to do before, during and after severe weather. Make a family emergency plan in case disaster strikes.
