Earth Hour is a worldwide event organized by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and held towards the end of March annually, encouraging households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights for one hour to raise awareness about the need to take action on climate change
Note: In Virginia we need an Earth Hour for Forest, they blow up our ancient Mountains for coal to be ship to China plus now in our county, the power company are paying farmers to clean cut their land the so write Dominion Virginia Power and ask them to plant the Populars trees on all land the farmers have ruin, remember Trees cleans the air!

To celebrate 60 days to go until Earth Hour 2013, we're announcing that the world's first Earth Hour Forest will be created in the East African nation of Uganda, to fight against the 6000 hectares of deforestation that occurs in the country every month.
