The Virginia Uranium Development Corporation Act has been filed in the House by Delegate Jackson Miller, R-Manassas.

This is the bill that directs the state to write regulations for uranium mining and milling. The Senate's companion bill is expected to be filed within the hour by Sen. John Watkins, R-Powhatan.

Virginia Uranium has been lobbying the General Assembly to lift the moratorium on uranium mining and milling.
