Note from Keep the Ban:
This next Tuesday, December 11, 2012 there will be the final meeting concerning the Guvvy's Uranium Working Group (UWG) in concert with the Dept of Mines Minerals & Energy. Senator John Watkins from Powatan Va. will most likely be there also.
His plan is to introduce legislation this next January which will be aimed at overturning the Moratorium without the vote of the General Assembly.
How this works I am not sure, but it surely has everyone who believes that we have a Democracy here in The Old Dominion real upset! One thing is sure: VUI will be there with all that they have in their arsenal of lies and smokey mirrors!
It is for this very reason that I am asking everyone of my "allies" to come to Chatham, to the new Agriculteral Center, for this meeting.
It starts at 5:00 pm and we will (those who wish to participate) be arriving at 4:15 pm for the purpose of showing, in a civil manner our displeasure with the whole "clam bake"!
Particularily John Watkins handling of the situation, against the will of the majority of the people of Pittsylvania County.
However, we are going to be furnish with 100 KEEP THE BAN T-shirts.
We will be at all four (4) doors to the Ag Complex, and we want it to look like a sea of Neon Colored T-shirts reading KEEP THE BAN !
These T-shirts are free, so do not be put off thinking that you will be expected to buy anything. However, you are expected to be there for this event.
This is to include everyone who cares about the future of Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee - from thew mountains to the coast
If anyone needs a place to crash, or a ride to & from the event, please call me and I will do my best to get everyone together !
