To the editor:
Are we willing to risk the possibility of permanent contamination of our air, soil and water so that some millionaires can become multi-millionaires? Investors and employees of uranium mining accuse us of being afraid when what we are is prudent and sensible.
Politics is important in this issue. Vote Tuesday for the only candidate brave enough to speak out against uranium mining — Henry “Hank” Davis.
