Where does Davis stand on sewage sludge? (We know where he stands on Uranium Mining- NO!)
Comment: The GOP people in Danville are attacking Mr. Davis who is running for Senator for VA! He is the only one with guts to come out against uranium mining! Just read NukeFreeVA comments, it tells the facts about the letter!

In the Nov. 17, edition of the Star-Tribune there was a picture of Mr. Henry "Hank" Davis announcing his bid for the Senate seat previously held by Robert Hurt.
Mr. Davis was in a photo with a lady that has sued Pittsylvania County and cost taxpayers over $100,000 in legal fees.
What is the relationship between Mr. Davis and this person?
One would think in his position as chairman of the Board of Supervisors, he would refrain from having his photo made with a person that has cost the county so much money.
In reading his platform, Mr. Davis pointed out he is against uranium mining in the county.
Yet another article appeared in the same edition concerning a Richmond company that desires to haul sewage to Pittsylvania County so farmers can spread on the land for fertilizer.
Mr. Davis has stated if uranium is mined in the county it would reduce property values and could create a health risk.
Well, what about sewage spread on the land? That does not create a health risk?
What about property values if your home is located near a field that has been covered with sewage?
The smell and insects could create a tremendous drop in value of property located near these fields.

" Mr. Marlowe,
Please check your facts about certain things in your letter!
You are a Robert Hurt supporter, therefore a Pro Uranium Back: "Vote for Hurt an easy choice: http://www2.godanriver.com/news/2010/oct/17/vote-hurt-easy-choice-ar-566326
According to Mr. Marlowe: "cost taxpayers over $100,000 in legal fees."
Well this is not true, if Mr. Marlowe was reading any type of local newspaper, we know this is not true about the $100,000.
Under the "Freedom of Information Act", a certain person could not get the info from the county which is supposed to happen! So this person sued county for info which comes from FOIA!
The info about the case:
"Chatham man appeals FOIA case he won"
The Chatham man who won a Freedom of Information Act case against Pittsylvania County early this month is appealing the judges Oct. 1 decision.
George Stanhope is appealing the ruling because the judge did not order the county to reimburse the $304 he had to pay for county documents.
County officials estimated legal costs and other related expenses in response to lawsuits filed against the county since late 2008 are about $200,000. Stanhope said he filed the request because he wanted proof of that claim.

So again, get your facts straight.
As far as the Sludge, I have never seen a GOP who did not love anything that will ruin the earth!
I agree with you on this, sludge on fields is a bad idea and you did have the facts on this!
But your man hurt likes sludge: Sen. Robert Hurts 2007 Voting Record:
SB1339 Land application of sewage sludge; regulation and management thereof. Y pass Senate Floor 2007-01-23:
http://www.richmondsunlight.com/legislator/rhurt/votes/2007/
So again why are you asking a Dem about sludge when your own man, "Hurt" loves sludge
