Danville Utilities awarded Danville-Pittsylvania County Habitat for Humanity a $12,000 grant to make up 1,000 of the kits for Danville Utilities customers.
The kits will be available for pickup from 3 to 6 p.m. on the following dates and locations:

Dec. 9: Bible Way World Wide Church, 215 Grant St. Extension.
Dec. 16: Pepsi Building at the Community Market, 661 Craghead St.
For people uncertain on how to use the materials, there will be an information session at each meeting, from 5:15 to 6 p.m. A DVD with instructions is also included in the kit.
If there are kits left over, additional meetings will be scheduled and posted at http://www.danvilleutilities.com/
