Comment: More modern mining problems because of flooding, Mother Nature is tough but the local VA uranium group thinks they are smarter than Mother Nature and if proposed mining happens, they can control everything, so Prideful and silly! Later, this week will be pieces of the flooding happening now in the proposed mining sites again!

The Queensland Government has awarded a contract to clean up one of the 10 toxic mine spills that occurred in the state's north-west due to severe flooding earlier this year.
The clean up operation will focus on removing copper residue that was flushed into Caves Creek, downstream from the former Mount Oxide site, about 140 kilometres north of Mount Isa.
Local MP Betty Kiernan says pumps will be used to return the contaminated water back to the disused mine.
