Chief Gary Harrison – of the Arctic Athabaskan Council in Alaska says northerners should avoid uranium exploration and mining at all costs.
Chief Gary Harrison made the statement at the UN climate change talks in Copenhagen.
He says it’s been proven that uranium has a negative impact on the environment.
