    Health and Economic Risks are Too High!
    • Drinking water for more than 1 million Virginians at risk of becoming contaminated.
    • Mining waste contains dangerous uranium, radium, thorium, lead, arsenic, mercury and other toxic materials.
    ... • Over 40 Virginia cities and counties including Norfolk and Virginia Beach oppose uranium mining.
    • Drinking water, human health, farmland, property values, wildlife and tourism across Virginia are at risk.
