Tornado warning for Pittsylvania County: Areas of Proposed Uranium Mining and Milling!


5 miles east of Chatham, VA


Comment:  The state of VA thinks they will lift a ban on uranium mining in VA but with storms like this hitting all over VA, it would be crazy!  No to u mining and milling!

The National Weather Service in Blacksburg has extended a tornado warning for Pittsylvania County until 7:45 p.m.

At 6:56 p.m., National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado near Aiken Summit (or near Axton) moving northeast at 45 mph.

Locations impacted include Swansonville and Chatham.





6 Miles North of Chatham, VA, White Oak Mt. Range!
