NAS and Virginia Uranium Study Meeting



The pro uranium groups are always countering the citizens of Virginia who have concerns about uranium mining and we objected to several members that the NAS appointed to the committee to study uranium mining. Most of the members have work or working for mining or nuclear power corporations.

The owner of Virginia Uranium Inc., Walter Coles, who also paid for the NAS uranium study funneled thru VA Tech, wrote the letter below with the following letter:

"Frankly, we see members whose background and qualifications, we suspect, tend to see things in a light favorable to our goals." Walter Coles
